This rum comes up from ageing in American oak casks for 12 years. This process provides it a dense tear with mahogany colour and golden highlights when you look at it, and aromatic notes of nuts, wood and vanilla in mouth resulting in a round and delicate mouthfeel and producing an agreeable sensation on the palate.
